I’m happy to announce the launch of a new medical malpractice newsletter, Anesthesiology Malpractice!
I partnered with an anesthesiologist, and we created a newsletter that is basically the same as this one, just focused only on lawsuits against anesthesiologists.
The first case is about a young man who was shot in the leg, lost pulses in the ED, had a thoracotomy with ROSC, and made it to the OR.
Sadly he died in the OR.
The family sued numerous doctors, including the anesthesiologist.
An excerpt from the defense expert is shown here.
Read the entire first case here:
A deposition from the patient’s family member is shown here.
If you’re an anesthesiologist or CRNA, I think you’ll really enjoy this new newsletter and learn a lot from it.
A few noteworthy things:
We’re going to publish new cases every other week. It’s hard to find cases just for one specialty, and a biweekly cadence will make this sustainable in the long run.
Half of the cases will be free to read and available to anyone. We’ve purposefully chosen to NOT paywall every article, so that curious students and residents can still benefit from joining the email list, without having to pay anything.
Paid and CME plans are available for those who want to dig deeper, expand their expertise, and improve their practice.
For anyone who is interested in a paid subscription, I’m running a 20% off Launch Sale for anyone who subscribes this month.
Check it out now!
