A 49-year-old woman noticed a lump on her left breast.

After a workup with her PCP, she had a lumpectomy and sentinel lymph node biopsy.

The biopsy showed stage I DCIS.

Her breast surgeon (plastic surgeon) recommended bilateral mastectomy with tissue expander reconstruction.
