A woman in her 60s underwent a screening colonoscopy at an outpatient facility in June 2017.
Following the colonoscopy she had severe abdominal pain.
The patient’s husband was very concerned and asked that she be sent to a nearby Emergency Department. 911 was called and she was taken by ambulance.
