A 56-year-old woman presented to her primary care doctor for gout management.

She was started on allopurinol 300mg qday.

Over the next month she slowly develops vague symptoms including headaches, abdominal pain, and itching.

She was seen at multiple EDs and several PCP follow-up appointments.
