An 88-year-old woman presented to the ED with confusion.

She had just been discharged from the hospital a few days earlier.

The original admission was for a fall and resulting right-side subdural hematoma that required a craniotomy.

She was rapidly taken for a repeat CT scan.

The results showed a reaccumulation of the subdural hematoma, with midline shift.
