A 74-year-old man presented to the ED with sudden onset of severe left leg pain.

There was no trauma or injury.

He had a history of atrial fibrillation.

CTA of the left leg showed occlusion of the left popliteal artery.

Vascular surgery was consulted and did a thrombectomy as well as an atherectomy.
