A 51-year-old man presented to a general surgeon with a right-side inguinal hernia.
He underwent repair on September 20, 2011 with a “plug and patch” technique.
An attending general surgeon and a rotating ENT intern performed the surgery.
The operation was uneventful and he was discharged home the same day.
